Yes, we know that the current solar technology is more expensive than fossil fuels and this makes it cost-prohibitive. New technologies are developing and this could make the cost of solar technology much cheaper than expected. New materials are proving to be more cost effective and may prove be more efficient.
Well, in all actuality this material is an old one. The potential of it is just starting to be understood.

The Sinking of the Lusitania (1918)
This is a rare twelve minute animated documentary and is presumably the oldest of its kind to surface. Winsor McCay is the cartoonist/animator behind the animation, as he made ten animated films between 1911 and 1921. The film is propaganda that represents the sinking of the Lusitania, since there were no photographs of the incident which occurred in 1915.

With all of the diplomatic talks and sanctions in the news these days, all of the spin and Newspeak is not preventing China from buying Iran’s oil. China imported 17 billion barrels of oil in 2012 and the energy-thirsty nation will continue to import the petroleum that it needs.
In fact, demand from Asia is increasing, as if to rescind the sanctions. The sanctions almost seem toothless, if the circumvention of sales is any indication of effectiveness.
The top five countries that import oil from Iran are China, India, Japan, South Korea, and Turkey. What sanctions you ask?
The focus is usually about energy projects in this region of the world, more specifically—the Peace Pipeline—and Iran has invited India and China to the petro party. Never mind the propaganda that flows from the media. Energy is front and center and the nuclear proliferation argument might be a red herring.
“China has invested an estimated $40 billion in Iran’s oil and gas sector,” as can be observed in The Jerusalem Post. The ties between China and Iran remain strong and this relationship is likely to continue.
China has deep pockets and the political will to make this gas pipeline happen, and NATO probably doesn’t want this to materialize.
Beijing is gaining clout in this important geopolitical region and has other options. The Turkmenistan–China gas pipeline happens to be the “world’s second-largest gas field in Turkmenistan.”
What if these countries purchase the oil with gold and dodge the dollar? Is this the precipice that follows?
How About $34 Million Waste Of Taxpayers’ Money In Afghanistan?
It seems the whole objective of the Helmand province campaign has been “to control a province that is known to be a Taliban stronghold, and a center of opium production.” The Helmand Province is one of the largest in Afghanistan and is strategically important, for several reasons. This video gives some examples.
Afghanistan’s largest cash crop is opium. “Helmand is believed to be one of the world’s largest opium-producing regions, responsible for around 75% of the world’s total production.” This is extremely significant because Afghanistan planted a record opium crop in 2013. Not to mention that US influence in this area has lasted over a decade.
Lashkar Gah is the capital of Helmand Province and is strongly linked to Kandahar, a prominent city located in the Kandahar Province. The two neighboring provinces are situated in the southeastern part of Afghanistan. The provinces of Helmand, Kandahar, and Nangarhar are among the largest hotbeds of opium production in Afghanistan.
This is in the heart of what is known as the Golden Crescent, and “Afghanistan now produces over 90% of the world’s non-pharmaceutical-grade opium.”
Camp Leatherneck, a United States Marine Corps base, is located in Helmand. “In 2013, the Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction, John F. Sopko, stated that $34 million had been spent on a 64,000-square-foot facility that presumably will never be used.” American taxpayers have paid for this $34 million project and this is considered to be yet another embarrassment, since US forces may never never use the facility. At least, this is the forecast.
Ironically, the production of opium has increased dramatically since the US occupation began in year 2001. Poppy crop eradication is out of the question and “US authorities are determined to change that momentum” by using alternative crops. Well, it sounds like a diplomatic plan, however, US policy has been questioned and some suggest that American troops are protecting Afghan opium. Of course, this side of it has gained little momentum in the mainstream.
Although there is supposed to be a pullout in 2014, some US troops could stay in Afghanistan until 2024. There’s a good possibility that some contractors may stay also.
That $34 million command center in Camp Leatherneck (known as the Regional Command-Southwest Command and Control Facility) may get used after all. Who knows?
Attach this sturdy camera to you car, truck, motorbike, boat, or just about anything else. It’s called the GoPro HERO3: Black Edition and this is waterproof.
Now that’s one tough camera.
Academic Gatekeeper Professor Noam Chomsky may not think that the JFK assassination is all that important, nevertheless, the majority of Americans think Lee Harvey Oswald wasn’t the lone wolf, even if this is the official story. These are not my words, this is from a Gallup poll.
Not only is the JFK mystery significant, it makes the citizens more distrustful of their own government. Fifty years later, we do not have closure and the politics seem to be getting stranger by the minute.
Americans were not really convinced of the “lone gunman” theory in the 1960’s, and that mentality gained momentum in the following decades to come. The science does not measure up if you are supposed to believe the official story. And if you have done your homework, you would have discovered that there was motive to get rid of President John F. Kennedy.
It could be argued that the day of the JFK assassination changed American history more than ever, and the shocking event was one of the most traumatic experiences of the century. People are internally shaken by the whole thing. Modern day Americans just can’t seem to fathom that their beloved Camelot President was brutally murdered in such a cold manner.
The reality is this—the conspiracy is not going to go away. It is firmly embedded in the minds of many.
It really gets strange if you watch YouTube footage of Oswald’s wife, Marina Oswald Porter. Marina said that Oswald was innocent of the crime. She wanted to see proof of any evidence that he killed Kennedy.
Marina then profoundly echoed the prophetic statement that puts this into perspective: “I know he is innocent. But, the danger of the truth not being known will, will destroy this nation, actually.”
I am intrigued with a former FBI agent, Abraham Bolden, the author of The Echo from Dealey Plaza: The true story of the first African American on the White House Secret Service detail and his quest for justice after the assassination of JFK.
Abraham Bolden was part of the discussion on The Conspiracy Show. This interesting show can be heard on radio.
“Contracting With the Enemy”
Are American taxpayers unwittingly subsidizing terrorist networks in the Middle East? A current report has certainly entertained this idea.
According to Russia Today, “American taxpayers have unwittingly paid more than $150 million to companies throughout the Middle East that are known to have helped finance terrorist attacks on US soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, according to a new internal US government report.”
The article goes further to say that Senator Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) was concerned where US tax dollars were going to.
From ABC News: “The U.S. government may accidentally be funneling millions of dollars to the very terrorists and insurgents it’s fighting in Afghanistan through sloppy contracting regulations, according to a new government report.”
