A Bitter Disappointment For Atlanta Fans

Super Bowl LI: The American Football Conference (AFC) champion New England Patriots played the National Football Conference (NFC) champion Atlanta Falcons. It was the first time in history that a Super Bowl game went into overtime. New England came out on top, but Atlanta dominated three quarters of a hotly contested battle. The second half was unbelievable and it ended up with a final score of 34-28.

The saddest moment in Atlanta sports history!

After the first half of the game with Atlanta going full steam ahead, the city police in Atlanta were worried that an all night party might create problems for the squad. What a complete turn of events, after 51 years worth of Super Bowl memories.

If you were favoring Atlanta, you are shocked and disappointed, because Atlanta had the game all wrapped up. A very determined quarterback for New England, Tom Brady, clearly made the difference. There were catches on both sides that were historical in nature. If you were favoring New England, you could not be more pleased.

Brady walks away with 5 Super Bowl wins. Another mark in history. What was it Brady said before the game? He wanted to win one for his mother? His wishes came true with a great deal of sweat. Crazy game no doubt.

Super Bowl LI was played at NRG Stadium in Houston on February 5, 2017. The network that aired the game was Fox.

“A spot from longtime advertiser Budweiser garnered controversy before the game for depicting Anheuser-Busch co-founder Adolphus Busch’s emigration to the United States from Germany, its broadcast coming on the heels of President Donald Trump signing an executive order that bans travelers from several Muslim nations.”
