The IFA is a consumer electronic tradeshow that is held in Berlin, Germany, and it is considered to be the world’s largest in this category. The Internationale Funkausstellung or Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (International radio exhibition Berlin) is one of the oldest industrial exhibitions in Germany.
Between 1924 and 1939 the IFA was held annually, but from 1950 to 2005 it was a biennial event. Since then it has been held in September of ever year. The Los Angeles Times has reporters covering the show in Berlin.
